Cardioboxing

It is a high-impact cardiovascular workout that blends elements of boxing, martial arts and traditional aerobics into a 60-minute exercise routine. It combines aerobic music with kick-boxing moves to provide participants with a fun unarmed-combat based workout. The class incorporates traditional exercises, such as jumping jacks, abdominal crunches, leg lifts and push-ups to create a total body workout. Our instructors make all the routines fun and easy-to-follow. Every class includes 5-minutes of warm-up, 45-minutes of exercise and 10-minutes of muscle toning & strengthening.


Cardiolates

A combination of low impact aerobic moves with body sculpting exercise. This aims to provide participants with a total body conditioning workout, the routines are safe (only low impact moves used) but the intensity of exercise is kept high. Participant motivation during the intense part of the workout is provided by inspiring and strong-beat music played during the program. Every class includes 5-minutes of warm-up, 45-minutes of exercise & 10-minutes of muscle toning & strengthening.


Dance Discovery

Students will be exposed to several dance styles such as Modern Jazz, Theatre Dance, Latin Jazz and Hip Hop each with their own unique qualities, and be able to experience several different dance form within one course. They will be guided with easy and simple choreography in each different dance style and learn how to stage a dance performance incorporating these dance styles in future.
Every class includes 5-minutes of warm-up, 45-minutes of dance routine & 10-minutes of body conditioning.


Experience Aero-bocxing

An introductory to two different kinds of high-impact exercise ie.  Aerobics and Cardio-boxing for students to experience in a fun and safe environment.

High-Lo Aerobics is a combination of athletic moves and dance in an upbeat rhythmic flow. Cardio-boxing is a high intensity workout that draws inspiration from martial arts. Kicks and punches are incorporated to integrate both upper and lower body in a total workout.

This programme includes 5-minutes of warm-up, 40-minutes of exercise and 10-minutes of muscle toning & strengthening for each type of workout (Aerobics and Cardio-boxing), with 10-minutes of break in-between.


Fusion Hip Hop

Students will be taught Hip Hop techniques and learn how to combine this dance element together with Popping and Locking, dancing to the rhythm of pop music.

Popping is a technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a jerk in the dancer’s body while Locking relies on fast and distinct arm and hand movements combined with more relaxed hips and legs. Hip Hop is a fun and cool dance style that will appeal very much to the students due to its use of fast-paced pop and funk music which is easily identifiable with the youngsters nowadays. The class will begin with warm-up exercises, followed by dance routines and end with body conditioning.


Hip Hop Jam

A fusion of Hip Hop dance with high impact aerobics moves choreographed to today’s hottest music. Our instructors make all the routines fun and easy-to-follow. Every class includes 5-minutes of warm-up, 45-minutes of dance exercise & 10-minutes of muscle toning & strengthening.


House

To introduce a dance style, House. This style of dance introduces students to electronic and dance music genre, and how to enjoy and dance to House music. Every class includes 5-minutes of warm-up, 45-minutes of dance exercise & 10-minutes of muscle toning & strengthening.


Latin Jazz

Students will be taught fundamental Jazz and Latin techniques, learning how to combine these 2 different dance elements together and dance to the rhythm of Latin or Salsa music.

Emphasis will be on body placements and the full and expressive use of the torso, arms, legs, and head within both choreographed and improvisational movements and sequences. The class will begin with warm-up to include stretching and strengthening sequences, exploring a variety of movement qualities.
Latin Jazz is a fun and fiery dance style that will expose the students to another form of Jazz fusion dance that is richly influenced by its music and rhythm.


Locking

To teach an 80’s movement dance during the Funk and Soul music era called Locking. Locking encourages freestyle and how to dance to the music, specifically, Soul and Funk music. Every class includes 5-minutes of warm-up, 45-minutes of dance exercise & 10-minutes of muscle toning & strengthening.


New School Hip Hop

Students will be taught basic Hip Hop techniques and learn how to combine various Hip Hop dance elements together and dance to the rhythm of pop music. The class will begin with warm-up to include stretching and strengthening sequences, exploring a variety of movement qualities. Emphasis on body placements and the full and expressive use of the torso, arms, legs, and head within both choreographed and improvisational movements and sequences. Basic Hip Hop terminology and dance technique such as basic popping, locking and wave as well as the downbeat movements will also be introduced.


Lyrical Hip Hop

Lyrical Hip Hop challenges students to use motion to interpret hip hop music and express the emotion. Connected and flowing movements are used to tell the story of the music and express the inner emotion.


Popping

To teach an 80’s style dance called Popping, which grew up in the west coast of America. Popping encourages freestyle and creativity. It introduces Electronic funk and P-Funk type of music, and how to dance to them. Every class includes 5-minutes of warm-up, 45-minutes of dance exercise & 10-minutes of muscle toning & strengthening.


Street Jazz

A fusion between Jazz and Hip Hop dance style, students will be taught fundamental Jazz and Hip Hop techniques and learn how to combine these 2 different dance elements together and dance to the rhythm of pop music. The emphasis will be on body placements and the full and expressive use of the torso, arms, legs, and head within both choreographed and improvisational movements and sequences. Theatre Dance

A course that touches on the history of Jazz dance back in the theatrical times, students will be taught fundamental Broadway Jazz techniques and learn how to identify and appreciate this form of Jazz dance.
Besides body movements, students will also be taught to use facial expressions to create dynamism while dancing. Music appreciation is essential in Broadway Jazz, hence students will also have to learn to appreciate Jazz music and to identify genres such as swing, big band and Bossa Nova.

There will also be an emphasis on use of props such as sticks, top hats and chairs during advance sessions to allow students to familiarize themselves with not just their own physical body, but to utilize props as part of the whole aesthetic beauty of Broadway Jazz.
