Music Programmes

1. Music Composer

Music Composer systematically exposes participants to the process of producing an original song via simple and modern approaches. The song writing and producing process are made possible to all participants with or without music background. Participants will experience music software and musical technicalities that will enrich them to produce an original music recording.

2. Spin Doctor

Spin Doctor introduces participants to the art of deejaying. Participants will be taught how to spin and mix songs. They will receive hands-on experience in using equipments such as DJ Console, mixer and software. Participants will also be complimented with stage presence and emceeing skills.

3. Percussionist

Percussionist transports participants into a world of rhythm and beats. They will be enriched with knowledge of playing different syncopated patterns through the strong emphasis of drumming. Participants will be exposed to various drumming patterns and eventually performing it.

4. Percussive Artist

Percussive Artist spins around the idea of stomp it. The programme introduces various drumming rhythm patterns. These patterns are then played on any items except musical instruments. It emphasizes that rhythm can be produced on anything. Participants will also learn how to move and groove to the rhythm that they play.

5. Asian Music Specialist

Asian Music Specialist infuses different ethnic culture of rhythm patterns and melody lines from the malay, indian & chinese music. Participants will begin by playing some ethnic instruments to capture the feel. An original asian piece will then be digitally produced.

6. Broadcast Presenter

Broadcast Presenter introduces participants to the world of either radio broadcasting or television broadcasting. This programme will touch on the technical requirements of relevant equipment operations and also the aesthetic requirements of show business. Participants will be required to produce their own show.

7. World Music Specialist

World Music Specialist exposes participants to music from various parts of the world. They will be exposed to the melodies and rhythms from Latin America, Middle Eastern African to Asian music. Participants will produce an original piece that incorporates the distinct sounds from various parts of the world.

8. Ethnic Music Specialist

Ethnic Music Specialist teaches participants the essence of being an ethnic musician. Sufficient rudiments and theory will be taught to enable each participant to produce and play an original ethnic piece. Participants will be exposed to ethnic instruments and relevant software to enable the production process.

9. Vocalist

Vocalist emphasizes on the art of singing. Some of the skills participants will learn include proper singing techniques, vocal and breathing exercises, pitching, selective listening, projecting and blending. Participants will be required to perform a music piece.

10. Guitarist

Guitarist teaches participants the skills needed when playing the guitar. They will be equipped with rudiments and theory to enable them to play basic chords. Trainers will use very simple and modern approaches that will make learning process fun and current

11. Keyboardist

Keyboardist essentially concentrates on keyboard playing. Participants will be equipped with ample rudiments and theory of music enabling basic keyboard playing. A simple and quick modern approach will make the learning process fun and current.

12. Drummer

Drummer equips participants with in-depth skills and knowledge of basic drumming techniques. Participants will be equipped with the necessary rudiments and theory to allow them perform. Lesson will be conducted in a very fun and modern approach that will allow them to learn what is current in the industry.
