This programme endeavours to equip students with the necessary skills in observing and listening to beats & rhythm of a music piece to work out the timing and nature of different dance steps. In addition, participants will learn how a choreographer creates dance or movement routines and then teaches them to other dancers or actors for stage, film or TV productions.
Dancers are usually employed on contract or for particular performances or productions. The professional life of a dancer is generally one of constantly changing work situations.
