Game Artiste (Platform Game Design)

Game design is the process of designing the content and rules of a game. It is also used to describe both the game design embodied in an actual game as well as documentation that describes such a design. In this course, students will learn how a Computer Game Designer devises new computer games and redefine the way it is played with the ‘Game Experience’


Handy Gamey (Console Game Design)

Walking on the path of Nintendo’s Game Boy line, students will get to design their own original games on consoles or handheld devices. Using emulators & game editors, students will see their game being programmed into interactive models like PlayStation sets, Xbox, Nintendo DS, PSP etc. Prior to that, students will learn different game genres, game development process & creative game design during the course.


PlayFone (Mobile Phone Game Creation)

Everyone would remember Snake game on selected Nokia phones in 1997, which turns out to be the most-played game on the planet, with over a billion of people having played this game. Cell phones have come a long way in technology history, not only for communication purpose but also to provide entertainment for consumers. In this programme, students will create mobile games for cell phones such as iPhone OS, Windows Mobile or Google Android with the use of SDK (Software Development Kit) that is installed in computers. Students will be equipped with logical skills through graphic interface design & object interaction in the various stages of game design.
