This workshop will cover the basic aspects of directing – but will focus primarily on working with their peers as actors.
First, students will begin the process by learning how to create a short story through improvisation and using their imagination with given stimulus. They will learn how to devise a 3-minute script involving just 2 characters.
Then each student will take on the role as the director to direct their peers to act out the script with creativity, truth and believability
The workshop will conclude with each student presenting their piece to each other in the form of a ‘workshop’ performance and they will be showing it as a ‘work in progress’.
This is a 4-day drama camp combining with dance, singing, drama, fitness and movement.
They will learn the basics in drama and theatre, develop fitness, stage awareness, dance skills, acting and singing skills.
They will learn to devise solo, duo or group drama performance of contrasting genres.
They will also watch theatre performance and visit theatre venues to enhance their learning about theatre and production. They will also be exposed to visual aids like pictures and power point to deepen their knowledge on forms.
Finally, they will present their series of performances in an informal setting to showcase their learnt skills and performing talents.
Read. Recite. Dramatise. Perform.
This workshop develops students to read and recite poem through learning the various choral recitation skills before learning how to dramatize and perform it.
They will learn to bring the poem alive from page to stage through performance tools involving actions, movements, creating expressions, sounds and images and using forms such as tableaux and human props.
They will also develop vocal skills, confidence and teamwork throughout the process.
The workshop will conclude with the students presenting their final performance.

Magic is a powerful tool that can significantly improve students’ social skills, cognitive thoughts, language skills and self esteem. StarMagical promises a fun and exciting journey of self discovery while exposing students to performing arts, drama and magic. By sharply focusing on a topic per session, students are able to explore given subjects intensively. The course eventually climaxes to a Performance which combines Drama and Magic, giving the students another valuable learning opportunity.

Many may have heard of musical. Many may have seen at least one musical.
But how many had the chance to perform in one?
This workshop will provide an opportunity for students to act, sing and dance in their very own musical.
They will receive intensive training in acting, dance and singing by Dramaestro’s team of professionals while developing a greater knowledge on theatre and learning about production throughout the workshop.
Also, for students in the school who had not had the chance to watch a musical, this is a good opportunity for them to enjoy watching one put together by their own peers.
This is not just a school’s production
It is a performance that will be put together and performed by young talents who are working hard to reach for the stars.

This workshop will provide the answers for students who are passionate about acting and in performing.
They will be trained proper and experience acting in their very own Play while developing a greater knowledge on theatre and learning about production throughout the workshop.
The process will also foster life skills development in the students who are working hard to achieve their personal excellence.
They will realize that Theatre is more than just about performing.
Learn to tell a story. Learn to act out a story. Learn to perform a story.
This workshop will prepare the students to tell a story and act out the drama and their roles within the story using the theatre form of STORY THEATRE.
It involves each student taking turn to story tell and act.
Students will learn to free and use their imagination and creativity to recreate short stories based on fairy tales or any known texts with a new interpretation.
They will then learn to work as a group to rehearse to put the skit together.
Finally, the workshop will conclude with each group presenting a final performance to each other.
Every student can be a Star.
From being a writer to an actor or being a production crew
First, students in their groups will begin the process by learning how to create an original story through improvisation and based on personal experiences and observation while using their imagination with given stimulus.
The workshop will progress with basic training in acting, stage skills, movement and voice work.
Then each class will pick the best script to perform it. They will learn staging and dramatization skills while knowing more about theatre and production.
Students in the class will take on the role of actors and crew members to stage the skit. So everyone has a part to play. The trainer will coach and facilitate.
The workshop will conclude with each class performing and staging their very own Drama Festival in school.

This workshop develops poem reading and recitation skills in students through choral reading
They will learn to appreciate poetry and use their voice and face to present their given text.
Students will focus on developing expressiveness in their voice, body posturing and creating expressions to read and tell the poem as a group.
The workshop will conclude with students presenting a final workshop performance.
