Anime Art

Anime is traditionally hand drawn and the most distinctive characteristic that sets it apart from other artworks is its superior artistic quality. This programme provides studets with better understanding of artistic anime art style such as wild imagination, exaggerated stylisation and realistic approaches.


Black & White Shade

The art of drawing is unique for its simplicity and free spirited nature. It is a very straightforward form of art. Through step-by-step drawing processes, students will learn about realistic and abstract drwaing using charcal and dru pastels. They will applu a wide range of techniues such as drawing stokes, shading, toning, creating simulated textures and adding effects.


Comic-Strip Art

A comic strip, sometimes called a strip cartoon is a sequence of cartoons that tells a funny or humorous short story. This programme offers students the proper use of basic tools and materials on how to draw various body parts and facila expressions. It also helps students to create appealing cartoon characters and work it into a three to six frames comic strip.


Doodle It!

Doodling is one way to give a visual representation of what is being learnt. Like many master artists, their work of art begins with a simple stroke of a pencil dot, line, curve or shape. This programme engages students in various creative approaches such as adding pencil storkes to any starting point of  line and to further develop a free and easy drawing movement evolving into an illustrative image.


Expression with Oil Pastels

Oil pastels is a very versatile and exciting medium that allows the creation of unique artwork. This programme allows students to apply various oil pastel techniques from drawing to painting. They will start with simple basic applications such as linear strokes, blending, layering, sgraffito and thinner wash to produce attractive art pieces.


Finger Painting

Finger painting is simply painting with the fingers and thumb instead of using a brush. This programme demonstrates a simple art form of drawing and painting. Students not onmly learn about drwaing with primary colours but also how to change the look of their art piece by adding or blending colours.


Fun with Lines and Colours

In this programme, students will be exposed to the basic understanding of one of the core art forms of drawing and painting. This programme is to instil students with suitable techniques and appropriate mediums when producing a piece of painting.


Lead Point Revival

Drwaing is one of the main art forms invented by man as a primary means of expression and representation. This programme focuses on basic materials and techniques such as drwaing with mixture grades of pencils and graphite using different types of papers, creating tones and shades, importance of lights and shadows and applying various drawing techniques when developing an illustration.


Linear in Perspective

Perpective drawing is a technique used to represent three-dimensional images on a two-dimensional picture plane. Students will learn the basics of perspective – what its, who invented it and how to draw it. Theu will also learn to do simple 3D boxes in one-point, two-point and three-point perspective including colour rendering.


Scraperboard

Scraperoard or scratchboard technique is a form of sgraffito which uses pointed tools to scratch away on coated dark surfaces, revealing a layer of light area. This programme allows students to explore varioys scraperboard techniques when using approporiate tools to create line effects, directions and textures.
